This just proves that just because you have your rights it doesnt mean you’re finished fighting for them.

General strike on today at all workplaces 24hours!!
Against the governments Industrial Relations laws where workplaces can change working agreements, get rid of sick leave, long service leave, annual leave.. force overtime, get rid of night pay. Even lowering the minimum wage. Basically all our rights are at risk. These laws have already passed through the lower house and since liberal have power in the upper house theres a good chance we will have these laws enforced on us without our say. Our time to say no is now.

Tonight an hour after I begun work our workplace walked out and I urge all aussie workers to do the same. Solidarity and support will also be appreciated from anyone overseas ^_^
